After-School Program

Enroll NOW for the 2011-2012 After School Program! At the Boys & Girls Clubs of York County, we offer after school programs at four area locations. Open to youth in grades K-8, the Club offers an exciting mix fun and purposeful programs in an affordable, safe and positive environment. Homework help, recreation, leadership skills, computer lab, study and organizational skills, health and the arts are just a few examples of our nationally recognized programs. Come see why The Club is the positive place for kids after school!

What The After School Program Provides:
  • Homework Help and Tutoring enable Club members to develop the daily habits of completing homework, having it checked for accuracy, learning effective study skills and understanding strengths-based learning in a safe, quiet space with trained professional staff and volunteers.
  • Nationally Recognized Programs engage youth in activities that enable them to develop self-esteem and to reach their full potential. These programs include 5 core areas (CHASE): Character & Leadership Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts; Sports, Fitness & Recreation; and Education & Career Development.
  • Collaboration With YOUR School enables the Club to work closely with faculty and staff to develop individualized academic plans for Club members.
